Skiing in Crested Butte
My brother and I spent the day at Crested Butte Ski Resort on Friday. The drive there was a bit scary with snowy roads but was worth it. We made it through the day without any injuries, just some sore legs.
Not a bad view

Let it snow

Christmas in Colorado
So it has been a few weeks since my last blog. OK, it has been months for those of you keeping track. Let it be a New Year's resolution for me this year to have a new and improved blog, or just keep it up-to-date!
I get to spend a wonderful week here in the winter wonderland of Montrose, Colorado. I have already been four-wheeling, got stuck. Going to try to go skiing this weekend, we'll see how the crowds are. Other than that just plan on playing some cards and watching movies with the fam. I will be taking lots of pretty photos and will post on a regular bias(fingers crossed).
Here are the furry ones of the family, Hershey and Buckley. Buckley, mr. tan and white, is very camera shy. He growls and runs from me.

Here are the rest of my wonderings today. Yes, even in Colorado I can find wheat to take photos of, well it is more like long grass. I like the tiny pine cones and yes, that is 'Olive the Other Reindeer' who must have crash landed into a tree some time ago.
